Oh great forum.
I have recently been indoctrinated into the world of the Land Rover Discovery 3. Not wanting to do things the easy way I purchased a broken one. It had an injector fault which also took a piston with it. I have the body off and engine stripped and am now on the search for the replacement parts.
Can anyone recommend a good parts supplier that isn't horrendously expensive? Some parts I have discovered aren't cheap from anywhere. I can't afford genuine LR prices but quality aftermarket will suffice. I have found John Craddock after a Google search who seems to have everything I need at prices I can afford.
On another note, I have noticed that there have been issues with the oil pump on the V6 diesel. As it's been removed anyway is it worth chucking a new one on for piece of mind or am I just being paranoid?

As Sea Raider recommended.
Regarding the Oil pump - general opinion is replace for a new one for peace of mind. Maybe have a quick read of: https://www.disco4.com/forum/discovery-3-t...80463.html Uncle Ray's spare wheel protector
