PAS Fluid

Done a search but nothing has come up. Need to top up the PAS fluid but the manual says Castrol Cold Climate PAS Fluid.
Is there any other oil that meets the spec or is it from a dealer only. Need a litre but I'm going away on Sun so need it before that. Do Halfrauds sell anything that meets the spec?

After consultation with a mate in the trade he recommends this.

The Large One has bottles of it off the shelf, it is definitely special low temp stuff.

Also I wouldn't mix types as some don't mix, so unless you are flushing the whole system I would stick with the LR stuff.

Understand the issue but I'm not driving a round trip of over 100miles to get 1l of PAS fluid. I'd spend more in fuel than on the fluid. And I go to Morocco on Sun AM. So a bit of a tight spot. It is sitting in the lower 1/2 of the range on the side of the resevoir. So would only need 150-200ml. So not a lot in the big scheme of things. I can always flush through when I get back if I get a problem.

Didn't realise you were off so soon Shocked .

I got mine by courier from Nick before I went to France. If you get stuck, he might be able to ship for Saturday delivery.

If not then I am sure 200ml will not be a issue. Any idea if it is leaking, I had a leak from the upper connection on the PS pump. Needed some new washers and it was fine.

I can't see a leak but then I've not looked that closely. It's due to go back to Yeovil for some warrenty work they picked up last time iy was in for warrenty work. So they can have a quick look then.

Nothing like last minute checking of the vehicle. I'm only going down the road Rolling with laughter
