Passanger side heater not getting hot

After being forced to be on the passenger side of the D4 due to health issue I finally Believe the Mrs when she says the heater just blows cold air on her. You can change where it blows, feet on or off, face on or off and windscreen on and off but regardless what you set the temp to it just blows cold air. I have plugged in the IID tool but it does not show any faults with he heater system.

Has anyone got any suggestions please?

If the D4 is the same set up as the D3, air blender motors I'd guess. If I recall correctly the D3 has five and they're all secreted behind the dashboard

It will depend on what the temperature setting is for the driver's side.

IIRC there is a +/- 4 degrees difference between passenger/driver with the driver's side being the "control".

Try turning the driver's side temperature setting to higher than the passenger side and see what happens.

I had this on mine, SWMBO complaining no hot air on her side when she turned up the temperature setting (no comments about the amount of hot air she provides - I did and am now slowly recovering Whistle ). Driver's temp was set at 16, passenger set to 24 but only cold air coming out of the vents on passenger side. When I increase driver's side temp to 24 - hot air on passenger side.

Thanks, I did try changing settings to the same for both sides but still cold on passenger side. Have taken it in for cambelt change so they are going to sort it while its there.

Thanks for the response.
