| Patriot Roof Rack - "CLOSED" |

Several members of the forum have intimated that they would like a Patriot Roof Rack for their Discovery 3.
In order to assess whether there is enough interest to start negotiations with a supplier please show your interest above.
The Roof Rack retails at about £1000 with delivery and VAT although it you want it powder coated that is another extra as is luggage rails.
Please do not sign up if there is any doubt in your mind as any possible discount which may be obtainable will be based upon the number required.
Price will increase when VAT reverts to 17.5%

ampneyman has been in negotiation with a supplier who has offered discounts based upon the number of units that would be required.
For commercially sensitive reasons the supplier has requested that details are not published on an open forum but in my opinion the discount offered is extremely attractive and generous.
If you are interested in acquiring what is considered by many to be the Rolls Royce of roof racks PM either ampneyman or me for details.
You know it makes sense

I have the 2 definites with the racks and 4 others requesting prices. I'll PM those people as soon as the supplier has confirmed them. Shipping where asked for will also be quoted.

It seems that we have reached the maximum interest for this group buy and for those shown an interest prices have been PM'ed.

It makes no odds to me but at the end of the day it's Trevor's group buy so he sets the parameters. If he only wants a week then so be it. Also why put a link? For something of this magnitude you know wether you want 1 or not. It's not an impulse buy. So you'd of done some research before anyway and will be jumping on the GB to save a bit of cash.
No offense meant but otherwise you'd have GB's going for months just to make sure that everyone had a chance to buy. I'm sure you've been in the same boat that you just missed something you were after buying, but at the end of the day Time waits for no man. I disagree .
I may not have wanted a rack before now, but given the information easily I might have/been tempted.
I do not know what this is, I am just going off to look now and see. I have made tentetive enquiries on a rack from another member so you never know.
I didnt want off road tyres - but looking into them I brought some! 
I didnt want black badges, again seeing them I liked them!
I didnt think I'd need a mantec plate, but given the info and the reasoning, I brought one!
I didnt think I'd need a rack, but thinking about it now, I might need one soon!
Still think a week is too short but hey, wadda I know!
