PDC Problems ~ "Front PDC Inactive" |
|
Just recently I have had an intermetent problem with my PDC, I am getting a msg on the info screen "Front PDC Inactive"
I assume it is water getting in around the connections from washing the disco, the last time I used a hair-dryer to get all the water out and it seemed to solve the problem allbeit until the next time it was washed.. does anyone have a permenant fix.. could it be that new connectors are required, is this a big job to do diy?
Would go back to the dealers but closest one is 70miles away
Help it's driving me mad, the long "bbbbeeeeeeepppp" then having to switch them off alltogether!

I have the same problem with the rears, will have to wait until I get the dealers.
Hopefully my extended warranty will cover it...
Sorry I can't help, but I can sympathise - the beep is annoying

I have exactly the same problem ...bloody annoying .
I have checked and its my outer front right one at fault . I have disabled the front PDC for the time being ( sorry used my faultmate ..no easy way that i know of otherwise) and will enable it again on Friday when it goes in for its pre end of warranty check and an MOT .
You could try masking each one off and see which one is at fault G4 Gone ...but not forgotten
