Peeling paint work

My Disco 3 2006 SE in Cairns Blue has some peeling paintwork on front bumper around fog lights, rear bumper and wheel arches. I suspect at some point they have been sprayed to match the body colour but not done a very good job. I want to return them to the black bumper colour as it has the black strips down the sides and would look better overall.

Any tips on getting the paint off? Looks like it would peel off ok but dont want to make a big mess of it, will post some pictures when I get home.

Cheers

All the panels look OK no peeling few scratches here and there just looks like the bumpers and wheel arches have been done at a later date to the factory paint job.

Don’t forget to check the roof for the signature Cairns Blue bald patch. If you haven’t got one yet, hold back on the jet washing.

Got one too - got it sprayed a couple of times... have now left if for a couple of years, hasn’t seemed to get any worse! It’s all gone around the top of the upper boot door edges too!

My roof has peeled too. I’ve put 3M wrap on it. It does not look great but hopefully will stop it getting worse and from my bedroom window it looks better than the white patches.
