I'm interested in the performace chip.
Looking in E bay I found few manufacturers and I appreciate some help:
1. Does the chip save MPG ?
2. What is the gained expirience of the forum members ?
3. Which is the most popular and recomended mfg? The prices vary from 50-350 pounds ?!
4. Can I install it myself with no dealers involvment ?

1. The chips probably don't, but a remap probably will
2. That add-on chips are crap.
3. Again, no idea about a plug-in chip, but a remap is probably less than 500 quid and you will get much more benefit from it. If it costs 50 GBP that it'll be f**k all use.
4. You probably can and I can see that being in Tel Aviv means that you can't just call TFC to pop over and sort you out.

I've been speaking to him a lot lately and I'm sure he'll help you if you're thinking about a remap. Hence the reason why I gave him the contact details of someone who does 'remote' remapping such as some of the site sponsors (i.e. with the Powergate R / RemapPro tool). But much cheaper

395 seems a very good price for a remote remap with 2 custom maps included......has anyone tried them out? This could be an option for me as i could return to standard whenever i wanted for servicing or change to "eco" map for long journeys etc.
