Phone / BT Problem

Anyone encountered this problem? THis was happening during the drive back home from work this evening:

Unlock car - BT wakes up and Nokia 6300 connects.

Use steering wheel controls and main console controls to find a number in directory (from phone) - all names/numbers there and appear on both car displays.

Activate a call using the steering wheel phone control.

Nothing...no sound through speaker etc (radio is on). But when looking at the phone the call is made. And the phone is still connected via BT.

Then I try voice command to dial one of the stored names I have - command comes back and say "Directory Empty".

When home, I do the D3 reset (i.e. switch off engine; switch back on... Laughing ) - and when a call is both made and received it all works through the speaker and microphone. But the voice command still says directory empty when I try a stored name.

Any ideas...? Or the first of "one of those Land Rover things..." ?

Thanks.
The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...

Club "yes, I too have had the EGR's replaced..."
Club "yes, I too have had the compressor replaced..."
Club "yes, I too once had the car at the dealer for a couple of weeks nearly 4 weeks over 4 weeks...5 weeks"
Club "yes, I too have had EPB failure..."
Club "yes, I too get mysterious bings and bongs..."

yes - I've had this happen.

Reset my iPhone and the problem resolved itself.

No idea where the issue lies, phone, Bluetooth or Land Rover - or a mix of the above.

Pain in the rear - but not a complete show stopper.
