it's got to do with fnltd.co.uk. They supply some dummy pic that doesnt load. Then after a while gets replaced by the proper img. Some pic loading script is twiddling the thumbs.
Try to load the page, then Inspect with the browser.
If i use umatrix and block them out, i get no pictures at all.

That blank.gif is a 1px gif. And it loads up fast in an extra window. Something on the scripts going on here.
