Nah, wind noise is still as grim as ever. I'll be experimenting with some rubber (matron!) to make a lip around the bottom (oh I say!) of the front section.

The rubber sheath Shocked I made was from 1/4" rubber matting. I've had the rack on for over a year now and I don't hear it at all ...the MTR hum is more pronounced than the rack Wink

Doh, Del beat me to it. All this water is slowing me down! I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

It dried on quite nicely too

Like a good boy I cleaned the headlights and number before heading home, then photoshopped some mud back onto the numberplate for uploading to t'web.

I'm no mathematician by any means but I'm sure that even 1200-odd quids worth of extended warranty is still far less than a year's worth of depreciation on a 3 year old D3...?

at least that's the logic I am going to apply to mine Very Happy Very Happy

Here is a picture of the Red Pearls rad after Salisbury. Look no mud. I off road my vehicles quite a lot.... but I do respect them and yes they break and get fixed. However I do treat them with care, a lot of care and respect. TBH if you are going to drive your car into mud filled puddles so fast that it forces muddy water into the engine bay like the picture above then you will get problems.
