Pirelli ATR replacement

In December I put new ATRs on the rear and recently I’ve been looking for a pair of ATR’s to replace my worn scorpions on the front, 255/60/18, however the prognosis isn’t good. Most of the usual retailers are out of stock and can’t order so it looks like i’ll be getting a pair via EBay from Italy.

One of the retailers mentioned they are either out of production or soon will be. 19s look to be more plentiful but I still wouldn’t hang around if you need these tyres.

I thought I’d share in case anyone else is in the same situation.

First order with tyre leader has “been lost by the carrier” apparently Big Cry , not a good start although TL have offered a refund or to dispatch a replacement. 2007 D3 TDV6 XS - GONE

18” supply is poor at the moment though. The ATR gets made in batches, history shows that supply often comes close to zero before another batch hits the retailers.

We first heard rumours that the ATR was being discontinued about 8 years or so ago. Usually from tyre dealers with commercial links to rival brands Laughing 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE
2010 D4 HSE (A bit bling)-GONE
2014 D4 HSE (Almost too bling)-GONE
2015 D4 HSE (A heated what?)-GONE
2016 D4 Landmark (Written Off)-GONE
2016 D4 Landmark (Surely the last!) PD1881 rims-GONE

FYI I placed an order with Craddocks but they called 30 minutes later to say they didn’t have stock so I received a refund. 2007 D3 TDV6 XS - GONE
