your old D3's

Do you keep tabs on your D3's/D4's after selling them (sort of stalking I know Whistle )

I just decided to take a look at the MoT history on my first D3 (an 05 S). I sold it in 2008 with 61k miles on it. It had done 144k miles at its last MOT last Feb, and had only failed one MOT in 2015, and that was only for headlamp alignment - not bad going.

My 2nd D3 (09 XS) isnt coming up at all, so I guess might be on private plates (or not in existance any more)

My last D4 had 61k on it in 2015, has 71k on it now and has failed twice (OK tyre wear and suspension bushes)

I did an MOT history check on my old Range Rover Classic. It lasted 3 years after I sold it, with more and more advisories about damaged body work. Then it stopped.

I guess it's either been broken for parts, or laid up somewhere rusting away! Crying or Very sad

Oooh, good shout. I definitely don't want my old one back having just reviewed the MOT history since I sold it.

EPB faults, all the usual bushes and a suspiciously prevalent SRS warning light all point to it being maintained on a shoestring with frequent use of an OBD reset tool ahead of retests.

WJ06SXD if anyone wants a laugh.

^^^ Just a bit. Snigger

No, not seen anything of the 2 running D3s I've sold on. Mind you I might start examining Norwegian Coke cans next time I'm up there to see if there is and Bark Bluie DNA hidden in there. Whistle

I used to look at my 05 D3 SE, but lost the plate it was transferred to when I sold it and retained my personal plate - is there a way of getting the plate it was transferred to so I can see if it is still alive?

Plates is the problem I have. I have no idea what many of the the original or replacement plates (generally but not always the same) are as I have 4 private plates that I've had for over 25 years now and I just rotate those.

Keep tabs on mine daily. 12 years on and still part of the fleet and running fine. Must qualify for the decade club surely?
