Plug in LED's that flash red and orange
At gaydon today, watching the heritage run coming back in, saw a defender 90 with what looked to be a small set of LED's stuck to the inside of the front windscreen that flashed orange and red, as he went passed it looked like he had them plugged in to the cigarette lighter, it also looked as if it had a mobile phone cradle as part of it
does anyone know where I can get a set if the above is correct and they do plug in to the lighter socket

Busaboy74 was the guy I was thinking about, I am sure he had some or knew about them.

I quite fancied white leds on the front and red on the back but that seems a definate no, no. See link below. It also implies that amber is not allowed either on a private vehicle unless used for one of the uses listed. I aasume this does not apply when off the public road for winching etc. Much tha same as the rack lights and only off road use.
If I was at the scene of an accident and had ambers fitted I'm sure I would use them and suffer the consequences afterwards.
Edit... Suppose OK to have the high intensity LED white and red if they are not flashing, but would need to be below the headlight level on the front?Off Roading is OK.... But I'd rather be Boating!

cough, cough, they are blanks, just the plastic rim and lens, nothing behind, saves having to buy a new bumper!!

well I've come up with some decent alternatives, from the uk, saw yours on an american site, these guys have a whole range of ones for front and rear mounted leds, in amber and plug in to cigarette lighters
