What are these plugs behind boot panel?
Hi everyone.
I’ve been looking over the OEM TV tuner retrofit threads and checking out the existing wiring in my new (to me) 2015 D4 SE.
I appreciate the TV tuner loom is not part of the standard build but does anyone know what these plugs are - they are located behind the n/s rear panel taped up beside the parking aid module?
Three multi plugs - pink, yellow and black and a couple of earth wires.
While we’re at it, what is the wee white plug and the wee green plug for? The wee green plug is jumpered off the boot 12v accessory socket so is a power feed for something. Land Rover torch maybe?
Any ideas?

Thanks Paddington,
I’m not sure if the D4 gets the same 3rd row audio plugs as the D3, but in my case the green plug is def connected to the 12v accessory socket.
This picture shows it a bit clearer.
Still trying to work out what the pink, yellow and black plugs are.

Rear aircon / heating would be in that position if fitted so perhaps the spare plugs are for that?Stu

Nice one Stu,
They are some fairly heavy guage wires so that could make sense.
those green plugs !!! everyone else seems to find them and want to know what they are for … I know what they are for (bought the rear audio controls to attach to them). Can I find them ?

I did read somewhere on this forum that the green audio plugs are not standard on the D4, like they seem to be on the D3.
In my case that green plug is not for audio, unless it’s only to supply power to the audio controls, it’s specifically an additional jumper lead that’s connected to the 12v socket.
With that in mind it would be quite easy to add if that’s actually what you need!

Hardware 17,
Could the wee white plug be what you are after? I know it’s not green but it does have a twisted pair and a couple of other wires hooked in, and once released from the loom might be about the right length to run up to the jack.

Right,
For interest I just pulled the boot panel off the r/h side to see if there was a corresponding green or white plug to match the one above, in case it’s the audio control lead.
Could not find any similar small plugs but there is another spare multi plug and a couple of other spare plugs on that side, no idea what these do either. Premium audio or CD changer maybe?
I’m used to working on the German marques where almost every loom is bespoke to the options on the car, so to see so many unused plugs and wires on the D4 is an unusual sight for me.
This large plug also has some heavy guage wires in it, it’s located on R/H side just under the DAB and audio amp modules.
