Poor radio reception

I've noticed for a while now that the reception in the D4 is pants Sad

I have use of 4 other vehicles and they all work fine so it's defiantly a D4 issue Big Cry

So what and where do I start with finding the issue please Very Happy

Have you pressed in the antenna snap closures on the side glass?

Mine were loose on delivery.

Agreed..it's rubbish.
Mine's been in a couple of times, had a few bits changed but nobody can get to the bottom of it.
The strange thing is, when someone is in the passenger seat, it works fine. I kid you not.
It's like they become an additional aerial.

What's this FM you speak of? I'm in the digital age!
(DAB is shocking)

Must be me - never really had issues (loses signal when going cross country up through Borders on way to Edinburgh - but that's it)

FM is fine but DAB drops out in a few places (but so did my old car), personally I think DAB reception is crap and has a long way to go before it can replace FM

For me the DAB issue is twofold ...which I have experienced on both D4's

....in certain specific locations like for example, the zebra crossing on the roundabout in Cobham or halfway down the High street in Weybridge, it will drop out for a few seconds every time without fail no matter what channel.

Then there are a few days in the month where it's impossible to listen at all and I have to revert to FM.

Odd Confused

FM - it's an updated version of a Cat Whisker** and a Crystal

(**Not to be confused with a Kenwood Chef)
