Back to basics...

Is there fuel in the tank. Ignoring what the gauge says. It does need a minimum amount of fuel before it will lift it from the tank

Is the pump fitted correctly into its cage inside the tank?

Was it a repair pump, or a full module?

Thumbs Up

It was a pump repair. There is a 1/4 of a tank of fuel. When I put it back in the tank it was a right mare to get in but it eventually fitted. I’m debating removing the tank just to double check everything.

Not had any joy with the repair pumps

I only fit an OEM tank module now. Not a job you want to be doing twice Laughing

Just spoken to a local garage they suggest starting from scratch dropping the tank and working back. Big Cry

To be honest I’m leaving it for the garage. It’s lashing it down outside and I can’t get the clips undone. Plus the risk of water in the tank is too high.

Did you get the pump wires around the right way?
