Or tell her she's stumping up for it?
I'd want it done by an approved workshop, just in case you end up with issues later on.

one of the selling points of GRP sides was they they were supposedly easier to repair than Ali sides.
£375 sounds a bit steep but given todays prices might be the norm. Give Premier Towing in Great Bridge a call. They are approved Elddis service center (and I know yours is a Swift) but they are only a service center, not a sales/dealership and have helped me get some parts. Might be worth a call.
