Caught a glimpse of the lovely Amanda Holden on TV tonight.
What the f**k has she done to her teeth, she looks kinda horsey, and why do celebs ( ) feel the need to go to extremes with plastic makeovers?

They don't grow old gracefully because female TV "personalities"/"celeb" types are expected to be young and gorgeous.
If she were an actress, she would just move in to parts for which her older appearance is not a handicap (or even is a plus point). There are many examples of this, of course, but the "celeb" types are short lived if they go wrinkly.
Of course, there are those such as Mary Berry who is old and wrinkly and arthritic but she has been around a long time and is a "national treasure". She also doesn't really look her 83 years, to be honest.
If Holden had developed in to a "national treasure" rather than a "celeb" she could have grown old gracefully like Joanna Lumley, Helen Mirren and Judi Dench (another 83 year old).Visiting from rrsport.co.uk

Mary Berry has certainly had work done, if you watch the original bake offs to the more recent ones with her in you'll notice a massive change!
