Always been quoted around £200 for 17" wheels, but was also always told that spraying them is better because if you chip powder coated wheels then the coat starts to flake off in chunks!

Yep, Ken is the man for Powdercoating, and/or painting them. He even has a nice set of 19's, the new HSE alloys with MTR's on ebay at the moment Wink

Just what I have been told by a few bodyshops and refurb places - others may have a different opinion!

I can't find Ken's wheels plus MTR's on ebay... Are they still for sale?
I know the book says D4 only for those new alloys but I can't see why they wouldn't fit a D3?

I am currently having 5 x 22" wheels done at a cost of £250 for silver

I had to find a new place as my local "wheel doctor" just powder coats over the old stuff Censored

I will post some pictures on Wednesday when i get them back Thumbs Up

Going Rate is £60-£80 each wheel irrespective of refurbish condition (as long as its round) This should include

Chemical strip (not Bead Blast)

Repair alloy (Weld & lathe) no resin

Refinish in customers colour choice (within scope of methods)

Sorry as a rule we don't do retail I pass on way below costs when we trial things Thumbs Up
