Power Problems

I have started to experience some power problems with my D3.
I have noticed that is is a bit sluggish when pulling away, if I am pointing up a hill it is even worse, lots of revs for little movement. On a number of occasions when pulling away uphill, the battery light has started to flicker.

Is this indicative of something to do with the turbo.

Normally my rover canters along like 2 yr old. Right now it feels like a seaside donkey.

Any ideas?

My turn, E G R valves.

Have a search for EGR valves on this forum.

I may be wrong but sounds similar.

Cheers Thumbs Up

or turbo on the way out (any error message) or intercooler hose delaminating or blocked fuel filter or blown brake light bulb!!! Shocked Shocked

10forcash (resident tech guru and indi LR fixer) is not far from you, might be worth the investment in sorting! And if "fly-boy" means you are present or past RAF he won't hold that against you, too much!!! Wink Thumbs Up

No not RAF - I was a brown job, it is under warranty so will get it to a main stealer tomorrow to get them to take a look, I'm just hoping that they can provide a courtesy motor if it needs to stay in!!!!!

Am I correct in thinking that calling in LRA rather than going direct to the stealer will ensure a roadside (home or office) fix or a courtesy vehicle?

When I used LRA I got a loan car and priority service at the dealer.

Just had the techies look at it, and they tell me that there is nothing wrong - after a test drive and looking for logged drive train errors!

However I know that it is not performing because it feels different...

Could I be imagining things??? Confused Confused Confused
