Problems with Motorola G10 and GAP IID Tool

Hi

Trying to use the tool with my Motorola G10 which it seems will not link with the tool, either via PC or vehicle.

Have dug out my old phone (Nokia 2.4) charged it up a bit, no Sim card installed, and it links with the tool via PC no problems.
Waiting for it to charge fully before trying on the vehicle.

App is latest version, Toll updated to latest version.

Has anyone else had this problem and is there a known issue with compatibility with the G10 ?

Changing Aux S/S battery, do you need to BCM update as per main battery ??
If so, what is the procedure please ?

Have contacted Patrick at GAP and awaiting his response also.

Thanks.
Confused.

UPDATE

Patrick got back to me stating that there are known issues with connectivity between Motorola phones and the Gap IID Tool via Bluetooth.

Luckily I still had my old phone (Nokia 2.4)
Fully charged, and hey presto, IID Tool and phone communicate perfectly. Very Happy

Just fitted new Aux battery, no option to update, just main battery.

Enabled "Scandinavian DRL" and loaded update.
Fault came up as U2101-0
Control Module Configuration - incompatible Headlight.
Stopped / Started and fault cleared.

Still showing S/S fault, but after stopping again and leaving vehicle, all seems to be working.
Will find out next drive.
