Programming new key with all keys lost

Gents,

Car is open, but key is lost. Is it possible to program new key via GAP or SDD? Does ignition key need to be in and in position II for OBD to have power for diagnostics/programming?

Yes, but for security related matters, I wont be posting it on a public forum...

If you order a key to chassis number, it comes pre cut with the correct blade, and will allow Ign on My D3 Build Thread

Programming is one... but you still need the fitting key itself i presume?

I do not know The definitive answer, but maybe ign2 can be reached with a fitting key and then programmed for ignition? Best regards

For 50 that would be just blank blade. Still needs to be cut which I assume only dealer can do for a cost of kidney.

Blanc blades can be cut for less than a tenner, IF you have 1 good one to copy from...
That will be your problem, with your original iknow..

But with buying a used set, that will bring you “ an route”



I did it for an extra spare... works a treat...

No that is for complete second hand ign lokc/door lock and tow keys blades.
