Did any if the last models of D4 have proper Apple CarPlay fully compatible with the latest releases from Apple? Or is either go to a D5 or look into the aftermarket options for a D4? Cheers,

I have the Naviplus version and can confirm that it works with iOS 13, significant improvement on the previous version. The updates are on the phone rather than the unit.
Not cheap but I much prefer the interface and use it all the time.

Apple Car Play not available on D4 and has only recently become available on D5 with the latest versions of InControlTouchPro software.

But Naviplus CarPlay upgrade only works on second gen infotainment system as I understand it.
