I've been trying to buy some awning brackets from both of these companies.
I've emailed ProSpeed twice, with no response, and called them 11 times today and no one picked up the phone.
Trek Overland - placed and order with them online on the 23rd as they showed 3 pairs of brackets in stock.
got an email receipt and expected delivery. didn't hear any more.
called and left messages on the 27th,
called and emailed on the 28th,
called 6 times yesterday until someone picked up and I was promised a call back by the end of the day - didn't get a call back.
apparently they had a power cut on the 27th so have no idea on orders or stock.
phoned and left messages again today, twice, still no call back.
Is this common experience with these two companies?
can't believe how hard it is to give these people my money!
Have to say that PS delivered super fast when I bought the roof rack, ladder and flooring which is why it's so odd this time... formerly Disco3Ben

That’s ok....after several calls and e-mails over a couple of months I’m still waiting for news on a couple of cross bars I want(ed) for a mk1 rack....
That was two years ago  Gave up and now sold the rack to a friend when the D4 went.
So if it’s only been a few days I would leave it for another 12 months before you chase them....  MY2008 D3 - It got me hooked...gone
MY2012 D4 - It kept me hooked...gone
MY2007 D3 - Mid-Life crisis toy continues driving me to bankruptcy...
MY2018 "D5" Si6 - But is it a "true" LR...discuss...but now gone
Back in a D4 with a lot of extras....
