Russell agreed, I was only confirming your findings to the others on the site Did you notice if the warning message was audible and visual or visual only? I cannot remember.

I can confirm that with the engine running, if the key is removed from the vehicle a warning appears on the dash telling you that the key is no longer present and that the engine keeps running.

Question: in the event that someone steals your car when you had the engine running and turned your back, could you press a button on the key to stop the car, lock and imobilise or alarm (perhaps not if the immobiliser prevents starting rather than running as stated above)? If you double locked the doors in this way, could the crook escape?
