Radio mutes when iPhone connects

This has happened a few times now, start the car, drive off with the radio on and after a minute the radio mutes, around the same time the iPhone connects. All music is muted, radio, cd ..
So I have to open the music app, go into playlists and press play, then the radio comes back on....
And everything works as it should.
Anyone else had this issue, not sure if it's down to settings in the iPhone or a fault with the gramophone in the disco.
Would be interested to hear you views.

I've had a similar issue with my MY14. Occasionally I've lost audio and navigation (if it's been on at the time) whilst the iPhone reconnects.

Yes it mutes the sat nav on mine too, have you managed to get it sorted, I don't really want to take it to the dealers, as it's a day wasted as it probably won't happen when I take it

Only had D4 a few months so not had chance to do anything about it yet. It's only happened a few times and like you said, intermittent faults never happen when you take them in to the dealer.

Happened to me once or twice... had to turn bluetooth off on my phone.

Then next time it's fine... Rolling Eyes so frustrating.

On the plus side, glad it's not just me.
