I am thinging of getting a LR RAI -
I am being told different things about the effect on my fuel consumption.
Will it go up or go down - (Diesel buy the way)
Anyone got any info ?????

Slight decrease in MPG, but not as bad as sucking in an engines-worth of water or dust

unnoticable reduction, but it worth every penny to prevent the water from running from the wing mirror across the window blocking the view through the mirror 
Oh and if it rains a lot you can go wading 8) Duncan

MPG almost unchanged, engine a bit noisier (especially if you open the window) but a nice sound (if you are fond of mechanics), a limited increase in wind noise and a weird effect of suction, causing sometimes the window not to close at high speed... for the rest, by the look and by the use, worth every penny...
PS: I wouldn't be so positive about the safari snorkel which is way noisier than the G4 et better in wading.

First time twice the same car ! and first time third car of the same brand !
