Range Rover Autobiography 20" alloys - will they fit?

Hi guys, my first post in a while as having crossed over to an RRS I've now rejoined the real world and bought a LHD Disco for my work over in Europe.

So to my question, Does anyone know the 20" RR alloys with 9.5" rim will fit on an 07 plate Disco with spring suspension? More worried about the rim width than the diameter... have been offered a set for a good price but not a good deal if they don't fit!

Thanks

Some earlier versions of the Range Rover wheels do not fit, so be careful, but good news is most do Thumbs Up

If you do a search "wheels that fit a D3" on here it should bring up thread with a whole list of wheels, styles, model numbers that do fit.

The issue with the ealier versions of L322 (RR) 20" alloys (as opposed to early L322 RR 19's) is they use a smaller wheelnut, so whilst they will "fit" in terms of hole spacing and hub hole size, you may need a set of the smaller black wheelnuts. That then makes them not such a good deal.

Can you post a pic, it might help us.

Hmm - not sure anyone has tried that style. It must be one of the few that we havnt tried Sad

So the only advice I guess we can provide is that a few of us (me included) have used 20" RR and RRS 9.5" wide alloys (e.g Stormers) on both D3 and D4 without any clearence issues, but it is likely that have all be on air suspension. Do you know what the offset is - is it 45? If its is (or the number is higher) you should be OK, lower and you wont be without spacers.

BUT, its not the wheel that would be the issue, its the tyre size. I think the RR used a 255/50x20 rated at 109, which isnt high enough for the D3. You need to be looking at something rated at 111. I used 265/50x20 Yokohama ADVAN rated at 111W.

Are they close enough for you to try one, with one of your wheelnuts?

Sorry - dont think we can be providing much more help.

have seen those fitted to a discovery but they were the polished face versions. Believe they were from a RR sport so should fit d3/4
this type

Also as has been stated many times before, if they are from a RRS the tyres may not be weight rated for D3/4 (if they came with tyres?)

Ive got the 20" RRS autobiography on mine. Ive also 30mm wheel spacers but they're not actually needed for the wheels to fit. I tried them with 285/50-20 cooper ltz's but they rubbed slightly. Maybe they would have been fine with the smaller 275-45-20's but I opted for road tyres again.

Narpy Grill, tinted windows, Smooth leather wheel (TLO Group buy), ACM fitted (thanks TLO), Rear door loom and Row 2 & 3 audio switch upgrade, RRS 20" wheel change, 285 Cooper LTZ's Sat Nav Mod (until I get a Faultmate upgrade), Front & Rear lamp guards. 4x4 screen now switched on - Woody32, Follow me home reverse lights - woody32, Auto release EPB - Woody32. Off Road Navigation - Woody32. Remap + EGR's switched off. Full chassis clean and Waxoyl.
