Real life experience with 19"

Appreciate advice from those with actual experience with 19' wheels.

Run out models of the 2009 D3 are arriving with 19" wheels as no cost ad on. Seems general consensus in Australia seems that that 17' are better for off road and therefore I am assuming view would be that 18' better than 19'.

I have to make a decision as to whether to press LR to swap back 18" wheels for my vehicle which is at the dealers.

All options would involve OEM tyres and I don't have anywhere to store spare set of rims.

90% of use around town and on highway. Going to moreton island in October (Sand). Other trips likely to be , bush tracks _ Snowy mountains / flinders. if i do decide to do a big trip would then be open to get specialissed tyre / rim combination.

Appreciate advice .....

Thanks

I have 2 sets both are 19". Personally I prefer more sidewall for the off-road set but I have a V8 and got the second set cheap I bought them to get wintertyres on but they happened to come with a good set of MTR's. So I still don't have wintertyres and both sets are 19".
