Rear Air Conditioning HSE

Can anybody tell me if the HSE model (05) has rear air conditioning, or is only available in the 06 model along with the cooler box. Confused

Thanks

I thought it was standard on the HSE, could be wrong though or it could be a case of 'regional variations'

Disagree, its great. Options are to turn it off, mimic front and rear heat settings, (illuminating top bar on the distribution controller)pass control to rear passengers (illuminating both lights from memory)
i use it in mimic mode and it heats up the whole of the car quicker and more evenly on solo flights, try it. yuou could be impressed.
i also notice that if you position teh cargo just right, you can even pre heat your golf shoes in the load space!

Yep, it's great, the kids (and dog) love it, helps keep the whole interior at a decent temperature, hot or cold and stops the dog going into overheat during the summer

In Germany the HSE (and SE) come with automatic air con but the manual rear air con is extra. You have to pay for it. By my reading of the German price list it costs €950 here (about £600+). Is it the same in the UK - the earlier replies didn't make that clear to me. Or is this a 'regional variation', as Slimer suggests.

Does the extra rear air conditioning make a noticeable difference to the fuel consumption?

Eric

I'll give it a go, I've seen both lights on switch before, but cannot now get them on. nothing is mentioned in book about two lights as I can see, How do you get them on?
