Rear air suspension boot.

Hi all,
Would really appriciate some help.
Just finished changing my rear pads and discs today to try and save some money, only to find a mess of a suspension strut. The boot looks completely mangled. I have seen the price of a new rear suspension shock and it is not cheap. My questions are:
1. Will this fail an MOT?
2. Can i just change the boot? (Seen some on ebay for £30).

I have attached a photo and would really appriciate any advice!

As long as the shock is still working ok you can just change the rubber. Is only a dust cover. Thumbs Up

Thanks so much for your help. Thats great news! Especially at christmas time.
Yeah it's working fine with no warning lights.
So just a few more questions, as I've been watching lots of youtube videos for help:
Will I need grease inside the boot ?
Will i need to take the whole thing off for access?
Is this easy,as I've read about having to cut old seized bolts off etc.
Will i need to de-pressurise the actuator?

Thanks again.
