Rear Brake Pad Part No help please - totally confused

I need new rear pads, and want genuine parts but am confused about part nos on the few genuine sets on fleabay.

The best price is for "Part Number SFP5000140 BOXED WITH PINS" (assume no clips) but the other 2 part numbers out there with other sellers are:

Part No. LR019626 & LR019627 but at about £20 more.

Can anyone tell me if the SFP part number is no good or is an obsolete part?

I think I'll need to order the clips separately.

Thanks.

Cannot help you with the part number, searched high n low for the invoice from TLO.....The NEW style pads are of a Diamond shape, and the genuine OEM pad kit comes with new bolts and sliders...........

I seem to remember approx £50 delivered.

I've just had a look at the box from when I replaced mine,(genuine from TLO), p/no is SFP500140 (not 5000140), but I think these were the old type, they were not diamond shaped, but had chamfers that had to be fitted at the bottom, came with 4 st steel clips and 4 caliper bolts, but no slide pins. I haven't had a problem with squeaking pads though, so I'm happy with these that are fitted at the mo (but I guess they have been superceded as per Jasons post).. Rolling Eyes

Found it, the kit is LSFP500140, £35 plus vat and delivery. That kit contains 2 new bolts and sliders....One pad has a self adhesive outer, that goes on the outside......

Hope that helps

SFP500140 is an old pad number, these were superceeded because of:
Rear Brake Squeal – Forward Rotation
With the vehicle moving forward slowly and applying the brakes lightly to decelerate the vehicle (with the brakes at normal operating temperature (warm)), a high pitched chirp can be heard from the rear brakes (short duration high pitched noise once every revolution).

that superceeded to LR016808, which now goes to latest number pads LR019627 (diamond shaped), which comes with bolts, but the shim sliders are separate, as LR019626 (£2.58 a set).

I suggest you don't bother with ebay & just get the from Nick, (TLO)

Regards
Steve
