Rear Disc Wear

just read the post on Tyre Wear at 12k - here's something similar....

Is it not odd that at 55k I needed new REAR discs, thought it would be the FRONT to go?? i.e.braking forces/weight distribution to Front.
Fronts still OK after 60k service???
Do LR make the Rear discs thinner ?
