Rear Expo Rack Mounted Working Lamp
I'd like to carry out the above. No questions on wiring or switching but am interested if anyone has used/recommend a particular brand & mount and the optimum position on an Expo/G4 rack.

Hi Discowex,no offence to Nick but i find the Defender worklight to be a bit poor in terms of durability.
we have them fitted to our Rescue 110's and find that after a short period the mesh over the glass rusts and the lense also rusts after a while.when we get a new vehicle we take the mesh off and powder coat them.
Just taken delivery of a new 110 CSW fully kitted out fo Mountain Rescue duties so will keep an eye on the worklights to see if they have improved.soorry i cant suggest an alternative
they do give out a good worklight area though Its not the height of the fall but the sudden stop at the bottom that hurts!!

What are you using it for? Wiggs had a couple of :LED light strips in the back of his car mounted on the ceiling to use as working lights with the boot open. Or do you need direction light covering more distance away from the car?Bodsys Brake Bible

yup , permanent directional external type Bods.Cant be arsed with a suction/mag mount as I've enough crap to be carrying round in the back.Wiggs one is the best for internal I agree , I followed his thread on it.
The LR one looks like it'll do the trick , just looking for tips , best position with the door raised etc .
