AIR QUALITY SENSOR
The sensitivity of the air quality sensor can be adjusted by changing the Air Purity level.
To adjust the Air Purity level:
Select the Settings icon, and then select Climate Settings from the SETTINGS pop-up menu. See FRONT CLIMATE CONTROL.
Select Air Purity, and then select the appropriate level: Low, Medium, or High.
To deactivate, touch OFF.Peter

Its actually growing on me. In all honestly I really hated the D3 when it came out because it was so different to a D1/2 but in time I came to absolutely love the shape of it and have no doubt in time will probably come around to the D5. I remember when the Ford Sierra first came out. (I would say one of the first jelly mould shapes) I commented I wouldn't be seen dead in one of those!
Two years later I was the proud owner of my Ford Sierra.
Great Car. Certainty didn't rust like all my previous cars.

I loved my B reg blue Sierra ghia. It even had a soft rubber boot spoiler
Off topic story.(short version) It had a pants 1.6 engine. Distributer went. Father in law says "I'll fix it" came home from work... Father in law says "try the car now" I knew something was up when it started with a growl. It was like a rocket ship. For a laugh he'd fitted a spare mk2 escort rs2000 engine with twin carbs he had knocking about. Spent most of my time looking out the side windows. Oh to be young and stupid again.
But seriously. What is it with that off centre number plate that's so off putting ? I just can't get to grips with it.Jarrod

I'm glad to see that Petersw seems to know so much about this new car? are you one of the developers/designers for this Discovery or are you getting back handers to help paint a rosy picture to convince us all to change?..
I'm sure it will drive better it certainly looks better inside but the only car that seems to do it for me was the Black car i saw in the dealership at launch it seemed to hide the awful backside to the point of being not bad.

That's a really valid point, it is based on the current FFRR. I don't care much for the styling discussion, actually it's ok in my eyes. Unfortunately it's a new car that in reality is a new body sitting on a 6 year old platform. In any other manufacturers terms that's old hat.
