Rear Parking sensor

Sad Looks like my disco 3 rear parking sensor might be knackered. Everytime i put the car in reverse the parking sensor audible alarm sets off on constant and doesn't go of untill i take it out of reverse.
Has anyone come across this problem and is there a fix for it.
Thanks
Mad

Contaminated or faulty sensor ?

Have you tried giving the sensors a good wash or try taping them.

If not , try disconnecting one at a time until you find which one is at fault Thumbs Up

Had exactly the same thing happen to me. Having it replaced on Friday - a 5 minute job under warranty. If you've got the extended warranty on yours your local dealer should do it for you.

Faulty Parking sensor

Would I have to remove the rear bumper to take out the sensor or does it just clip out from the back f the bumper itself. Don't know whether still under warrenty as the car is a 05 reg.
Thanks Confused

I'll let you know on Friday, unless someone replies sooner....

The warranty term is for 3 years from MY year.
