| Rear Propshaft Bearing...... |

.....has collapsed according to my local stealer when the D4 went in for a service. The chappie on the "Health Check" video says it's not possible to fit a new bearing, it has to be the propshaft as well. 
Is this true?
(He also says the tread depth on the spare is an advisory although it passed the last two MOTs. I assume they check the spare during the MOT?)
Any advice gratefully received!
