It's easier to replace the whole arm, and cheaper if you're paying someone to do the work. The bolts will probably need cutting off.

Hi thanks, it is looking very likely that i will have to cut bolt heads off as well seized. I have a press so I got bushes from land rover.

Good luck with the press - make sure you do not deform the really thin walled bush or the bolt will not line up

just replaced the two front wishbone assys, and this was the advise i got too, just replace the whole assy, cheaper in the long run, and in fairness, not badly priced from TLO .... the only man !!!! Bow down Thumbs Up

if you get the whole assys you will still need to press in one of the bushes as the arm only coms with two of them, the other is in the hub. Also anbody else doing it I would advise to get new bolts as well.its not too bad to do just getting the old arm off, would have been lost without the air sabre saw. Smile

Did the joint in the hub need changing? I had the arms done recently but there was no sign of wear in the upper ball joint (@120000 miles)

No not really, but bolt siezed solid in it so had to cut out and replaced. They are only £12 from Landrover. While it was off I just brought a full set of bushes. Smile
