My Rear Wiper is sometimes not returning to it's rest position. It stops about 4 inches from the end of the cycle and the motor makes a brrrrrrrrrrrr noise for about 10-15 seconds
sometimes is very slowly returns to the rest position, sometimes it picks up, does a wipe cycle ok though most of the time I have to wait for it to wake up and go back to the rest position.
Any suggestions on how to cure this?

have tried WD40 - unfortunately it didn't improve things
