Hi D3NUM, I use detachable Thule tow hitch for 1500kg. tin tent and occasional trailer approx. 3000kgs. total. No probs. Just keep everything clean and use spray lithium grease on insert, (not Ball) and slam it up and you will be fine. Just keep it clean and slippery. Cheers Lukey. Thumbs Up
