Yep, disappointed. Interesting story concept, but the script seemed a little flat. After all that time with Rimmer, there's no way Lister would have remained sane yet there was only the (excellent!) ironing gag. Studio/canned laughter was notable by its absence.
I'm kinda glad nothing happened with Red Dwarf the movie now...but I'm off to dig out Series 1-8 for a Dwarfathon reminisce of the old days Dr. Ian Malcolm:
"Yeah, but your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should."
Transgenic tomato anyone?

Amazing the difference the laughter made.
Found it sadly lacking.... Disco 5 HSE Lux

Progress is not always a step forward as the team responsible for this latest version of Red Dwarf are probably now realising.
Some things are best to be left well alone and remembered for what they were I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.
