Folks
quite a few people knock LR's reliabilty, but a friend of mine has a Disco TD5 (I had one as well at the tiime), its on a Y plate, with 160k miles on it. At approx 60K miles he had the JE ECU upgrade and larger intercooler, giving approx 190BHp, so has now done 100k miles on this tuned engine, very little in the way of problems. Well serviced and well looked after, with no intention of changing it.
It shows what you can do if its done properly.
