Remote receiver location

Hi all, I have a 2011 D4 HSE fitted with a Webasto Thermo Top VEVO. There is no timed control in the software under vehicle settings so was thinking of purchasing a T91 remote for it but I first want to check that it has the remote receiver fitted. Can anyone tell me where it is located please? cheers 😊

It wont be fitted, if it is its in the drivers side rear boot panel, you can just see it if you look up through clip in panel.
You will also need to get it enabled in the CCF file.

Flack Thumbs Up

I don’t think they would fit the box for fun or free

In the boot behind the right side panel.

Thanks guy's, photos are a great help thanks πŸ‘

If its not fitted then how was the heater operated as there's no timed option in the vehicle settings?
Also looking in to purchasing Gap tool as I think you can enable the aux heater if im right.

Yeap.

When you start the engine below 5 C it fires up to help the engine maintain temp

If you are buying a Gap iiD you can enable the timed remote that will allow you to use a manual on off and set a timed start for the FBH. With the IID you can also enable the remote kit once you buy it. Often they are offered as a complete set of the aerial, receiver and remote but I found it it works out cheaper to buy them separately - a word of warning though often the remotes offered on Ebay that say they are compatible LR parts are not actually compatible with the D4 Unit and are actually for Evoques or Disco Sport.

If you have a fiddle through the side pod where the jack is stored you can fit the components without having to take the side trim off - just position the aerial lower ( it doesnt seem to make make much difference to the range)
 Must stop buying shiny toys....
