Removing the tow bar

Hi guys,

I just tried to remove the tow bar now, and nothing happens after I unlock with the key.

I tried pressing down by hand, by foot (putting my weight on it), but no success.

I am going by the manual's steps, but is there a step I am missing!?

The key allows you to pull the ''knob'' out and rotate it Wink LR Discovery 4 XS pulling an Airstream 532 Caravan also own (since new) a 1996 MGF

yeah, I did that, but the tow bar doesn't budge --

Intestinal though if you watch the likes of Strike Back (filmed down you end of the continent) the chief baddies all drive RRSs. Obviously they know they are going to get killed in the plot and just taking the gamble that the Snort doesn't break down first. Thumbs Up

Thanks,I used a hammer and it came out.

PO obviously had never removed it as it was stuck solid in there.

true, I use it all the time on the Defender.

But I'm wary of using it on the D4 Shocked --
