Over the past year I have replaced all the front suspension components including track rod ends and air struts car drives lovely at the front all bushes were either original or oem apart from the anti roll bar those were pollybush, problem is when I go over any potholes there is an awful bang like something is loose or worn but it’s all new and it’s driving me potty, I’m about to replace everything in the back but would like to get this sorted car on 220kRange Rover Westminster 4.4 TDV8 what a car

Take the poly bushes off and fit OEM It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.
Surely the polybushes on only the arb cans be totaly responsible for the banging if they are I will bining them ASAPRange Rover Westminster 4.4 TDV8 what a car

I know that you have replaced the track rod ends but have you checked the track rod where it comes out of the steering rack? The ball joint at this end wears and can cause a knock and some vagueness in the steering around the straight ahead position.
Another common cause of knocking are the ball joints at each end of the drop links that connects the anti roll bar to the top wishbone.

I fitted new drop links to the roll bar last week so they are ok, I do get a vagueness in steering when going straight is there a way to check it’s the steering where the track rod end fits and if it’s this how easy is it to replace the steering rackRange Rover Westminster 4.4 TDV8 what a car

It feels like it’s being transferd through the wheels and the steering but st 220k I’m sure there are plenty of worn mounts 🙄Range Rover Westminster 4.4 TDV8 what a car

Air strut, lower and upper arms, track rod ends and the bars that screw into steering rack, drop links, and ARB bushes and wheel bearings running Goodyear wranglers that are 2 months old on the origin HSE six spoke alloys at 33psi the car does feel really well sorted at the front driving round the lads near home on the motorway it is sooo much better but still feels a tad vauge at times I have all the parts to replace the rear suspension bits waiting to be fitted, if I hit a pothole it does flatter through to the far worse than the wife’s Q3 and her Ford Kuga I may drop the psi a bit as it feels like I’m running on solid rubber tyresRange Rover Westminster 4.4 TDV8 what a car

I find the difference between 33psi and 30psi can make a big difference in handling, depending on loading, don't rely on fore court pressure gauges they can be +/-5% out.
Did you lock the arms up at normal height?- not with the arms/wheels hanging. I still think Polybushes are a mistake if you want the the most comfortable ride!
Four wheel alighnment is also essential. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

I had the front wishbones done on ours a month or so ago. It drove like sh*t after so I had it 4 wheel aligned and it was better but felt really harsh on short sharp bumps like cats eyes for example. It was like I’d gone from normal to solid tyres. It gradually got better and is back to normal now. All I can think of is the new bushes needed wearing in.
