Replacement leather seat covers |
|
Since my D3 is getting on a bit, the drivers seat is starting to loose it's colour.
Think I may have tried using too strong a cleaner on it!!
Got the colour coming off on a white cloth when I clean it.
So much so, it's gone slightly sticky to touch and it's attracting more dirt.
Also got a black mark accross the lower backrest from my leather trouser belt.
Leather is Alpaca btw, so now looking a little shody.
Anyone any idea what I'd pay for replacement seat cover back and base incl armrest?
Ok I know TLO can tell me, but don't want to go and pester him just yet!! I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.

I'm curious also. I've got an early build D3 and the drivers seat has seen better days. 16 D4 Landmark

Ronp. I paid about £240 from Nick for the seat base and back in November 2006. Don't know about the armrest as mine doesn't have them.

Ron, I did a swap on seat covers on one of my seats and its an absolute pain in the hole!
It might be cheaper and easier to wait and pick up two second hand seats of similar spec A happy childhood ... is the worst possible preparation for life.

No, wouldn't want to be tackling that job myself.
Would leave the knuckle grazing to my friendly LR dealer. I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.

Seat Surgeons retrimmed my S model's cloth seats in black leather with grey sports stitch and design pipe to centre of seats. I was impressed with service and quality. Used a good quality Scottish leather, mid way between nappa and the normal stuff.
You get a bespoke trim on all 7 seats for about £900, looks much better than the OE stuff
