I’m not green either. Doing the man maths of how I can get my paws on one. Lol

I bought the dremel kit in a silver box with a flex shaft etc. Can’t wait to use it in anger. Lol

Don’t forget buying tools can never come out of the SWMBO Xmas / birthday fund Laughing

Unless u try and say the induction heater is to speed up drying her nail varnish Whistle

Was only someone on here who reminded me about the dremil as I forgot it was in the shed , was perfect for the drop links Thumbs Up

Induction heaters are a brilliant bit of kit without one I would never have been able to fish my EPB and cables out, it heated the bolts but didn’t touch any plastic nearby and no naked flame to worry about touching where you don’t want it to as occasionally happens no matter how careful you are when using Oxy acetylene. Good interesting post. Thumbs Up

Rear uppers are a pig of a job.
Think it was an angle grinder that got mine out, the bolts had no desire to come out.

I have the RRS arms on mine, both rear upper and front lower.
Nice upgrade for me. I got mine in a massive lot from my local main dealer.

Have the upmost respect for anyone that’s replaced them

Was the recip saw for me that finally got them out , felt like it was never going through then all of a sudden the nut end jumped off with a thud

Really handy having that slot in the chassis, front bolt came out really easily

Hub bearing bolt was another sod

Passenger side looks worse due to the compressor being in the way

Got to get this drivers side all done and dusted by the 20th july for its MOT

In this video the bolt is the new style with a reduced shaft, thats why it came out easy, on the older cars if they have the full sized shanked bolt then they are much more difficult to get out, by the time you have heated them up you could of cut them off with either a recip saw or grinder.

But still a nice tool to have..

Flack Thumbs Up

Well that’s the brake line re flared , just put a fitting on it for now to stop it dripping

will wait before I push the pipe clip on after fitting the new flexible brake hose

Flaring tool worked a treat , thks for the recommendations Bow down

Just gave the wishbone a few coats of dinitrol before installing

Plugged the landy in to ensure both batteries are topped up prior to bleeding the brakes out

Getting there Whistle
