Retracting wing mirrors

My D3 HSE went in for service today and as a loan car I'm driving a mid spec freelander. When I locked it the mirrors turned in....

Why can't I do this on mine, would be really handy instead of using the button each time.....

On my Mercs this could be programmed to be on or off.

If you manually switch them to go in you then lose the safety aspect of being able to have a quick check behind before getting out the car. Crying or Very sad

Also on operating the plip locking if the mirrors fold it's another visual means of ensuring the car is locked/open.

Would also be very interested if it could be programmed to fold in on operation of the plip

I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
