Hope this makes it easier to see as I progress with this
The brown and yellow wires as u look at the fuse box
Left hand are the heated door mirrors
Right hand is for the heated windscreen washer jets
Just placed a tool there so u can see the right hand heated jet wire is missing above from one side of the fuse , this is where the wire needs to go to run up to the heated jets
Will update , weather conditional

Hope if got this How to correct and in the right order
Will add the pictures and will add captions as I go along later
Apologises it’s so long winded , taken me a lot of time to find where wires go etc
Will update accordingly , as next step will be to install the wire into the fuse box F12 , through rubber grommet and up to the washer jet location
Ref earth wires, don’t have to run it back to the fuse box, plenty of other earths around, will test and include what earth point is ok to use
Fuse F12 which is for the heated windscreen washer jets
Battery disconnected and meter set to ohms, can see there is a wire there
No wire behind
Remove positive battery lead so it’s out of ur way
If aux battery fitted , disconnect that as well
With main battery now removed these are the catches that allows u to remove the top of the fuse box, however don’t touch them yet
Undo the bolt at the bottom of the fuse box, this allow u to slide the fuse box to one side
I very carefully cut the 2 x cable ties at the back of the fuse box which secures the main loom , this allows me to lay fuse box on its side and slide out the bottom fusebox cover without straining any wires and exposing the wires
U can now see the yellow/brown wires, u want the RH wire , the left hand yellow /brown wire is for the heated door mirrors
This is the route the wire will exit the fuse box and up to the washer jets
TO BE COTD

second hand loom that came with the rubber washer tube attached
I’ve removed it completely , because I will be going through the existing rubber grommet I don’t want an open tube in the risk of water tracking down into the electrics

Many thks and I know and just for heated washer jets
It was removing the scuttle panel for painting started it all and just oh well as that’s out I might as well do the retrofit
Drove me nuts last year when I kept getting frozen water jets , even though I had put the antifreeze washer fluid in
Hope by going through all this I’ve managed to do the hard work by figuring everything out so will be a lot easier for the next person wishing to do this mod
All I’ve got to do now is install the loom , refit scuttle , A panel and new wiper arms , also bought new stainless steel nuts and covers for the wiper arms
Plus just ordered the new D4 jets ref LR018834, hope there the right ones , seems daft not to fit them now so it’s all done and dusted then

Hi
Got loom fitted and battery back in
Started engine all fine
However windows don’t work, drivers side I can just hear a slight buzz, I think where I’ve had the scuttle and A pillars out and with all that heavy ran it’s got into the electrics
Know that door loom seal from the body to the door isn’t in correctly , so thinking water has tracked past
Door mirrors and pass window sprung into life for a few seconds then stopped
All fuses ok and no faults on iid , covered everything back up and just waiting for my scuttle and A pillar to dry completely
Always put a baby gate at the front door so candy can lay there
Finished up and was coming back in, front of foot caught the bottom of the gate and fell forward , yep back ripped out so have got the right ump , laid out on the sofa
Gutted

All those issues have the door module in common so you may have water in the wiring for that module.

That's a really horrid cloned/pattern connector. The Webasto fuel pump connector is the same, and I do those. And I'm cheaper for an original than for a clone
Can do without the wires and just as terminals+seals if necessary.06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

I would try and hobble out there and disconnect the battery to let the systems reset and dry out.
Rest your back a few days. And then connect the battery back up.
lock the doors before hand, and leave the bonnet unlocked

Hi
Indeed that’s what I’m also thinking , had that extreme rain the other day and it’s managed to get in the door loom
