Hi
Erm erm, has anyone got access to Topix and if I can be really cheeky please
Am trying to find the connector location for the heated windscreen washer jets and seen pictures like this that would be fantastic to locate it
Was just wondering on the off chance if someone would be so kind to have a look for me please and show a it’s location , pretty plse with a cherry on top
Sorry for being a cheeky sod on asking
Bless u and thks again , hopefully I won’t get anything thrown at me

Ah bless u, thank u so much
As mine the base model it’s the case of where those wires come up at, so indeed where the connector plug is hidden in the engine bay so I can then find it in order for me to retrofit some heated windscreen washer jets
Assume the looms are the same in the engine bay from the base to the HSE , maybe different inside the cabin
Thks again and very grateful

I am currently looking at a retro fit mod for these to fit mist type jets as opposed to the two spray jets.
Will update when I have made some progress. They will be heated too 2006 TdV6 HSE.

I’ll try and remember to post the other connector locations tomorrow when I’m back at a computer. I’ll also pop up the wiring diagram for you."OIL" - 1990 200tdi Defender 90

Heres the wiring diagram, not that complicated really. Fed off Fuse 12 in engine fuse box. Which in turn is powered by the heated mirror relay. I'd check if both sides of the fuse holder have connectors in. If not then the rest of the wiring for the jets wont be there I don't think.

Many thks and very helpful
Indeed difficult to see and the fuse is there for the heated mirrors which is on the same line , , looks like I would have to tip the fuse box over to look at the back but not keen
I suppose I’m assuming the connector for the heated jets is tucked away somewhere, just can’t find it
Thks again

You need to remove the fuse and prod something down the holes to see if something is down both holes

Hi Pete
See that’s why ur the clever one
As it’s been difficult trying to see with so many looms everywhere coming off the fuse box and indeed if it’s the correct wire
Will try that , many thks

i suspect there will only be one pin for Fuse 12. Fuse 16 is for the heated mirrors which is spliced off pre-fuse inside the fuse box. However if there is one pin for Fuse 12 you should be able to put a pin in the other side providing it's live which it should be when the heated mirrors are one which is all the time the engine is running.

Hi
Many thks , suppose though I won’t get any live reading due to the weather as in not sending live
It will pull the fuse and see what pins are there
Just thought there would be a connector plug tucked away coming off the main loom to that corner where the leads should go up to the jets
Indeed will do some more digging of what’s there, unsure if it will involve having to turn the fuse box over and adding a wire into the mirror circuit and from there onto the heated jets which I think may be the solution ???
Would be nice getting it done pre winter
Thks again

Hi
Wished to start updating this thread
Now got a complete engine loom and fuse box, sat down at the table and found the wires , all the washer tubes are also there but they look abit tired so will buy some silicone tubing
Got the fuse box apart, got some terminal keys somewhere so I can get the terminal wire removed from the fuse box
Will update further over the months as I can’t do much at the moment
Hopefully it will be handy for others
Ps, got the HSE loom, there’s also a grey connector inside the fuse box which I think is to connect JLR’s spot lights

Have you got the red wire on the big FBH connector?
If you get a board moment, I would appreciate any guesses where that ends up!???!
